The Hoyas earned their spot in the quarterfinals by defeating the Villanova Wildcats in the first round and the Maryland Terrapins in the second round. Georgetown is now 14-4 on the season, and they are ranked No. 4 in the country.

The Hoyas are led by a high-powered offense that is averaging 14.5 goals per game. Senior attacker Jake Carraway leads the team with 35 goals, while junior midfielder Tucker Hull has added 32 goals and 15 assists.
The Hoyas’ defense is also playing well, allowing just 9.8 goals per game. Senior goalkeeper Nick Marrocco has been a key part of the Hoyas’ success, posting a 12-4 record with a 9.20 goals-against average.
The Hoyas will face a tough test in the quarterfinals when they take on the No. 1 seed Duke Blue Devils. Duke is 16-0 on the season and has won the last two national championships.
